Executive Communication and Business Writing Coach

Leslie Goldberg, MS, is a communications professional with more than 30 years’ experience working with for- and not-for-profit organizations. She has extensive experience in corporate communications, public relations, brand strategy, professional training, and university-level instruction.

 Leslie instructs clients in many Boston-area businesses—including pharmaceutical and biotech companies, market strategy organizations, and consulting firms—on the essentials of business writing. She teaches a broad range of topics—from brainstorming and organizing to proofreading and grammar—and focuses on diverse writing types, including reports, memos, emails, journal articles, marketing materials, and more. Leslie partners with clients to help them:  

  • sharpen writing skills for sales and marketing purposes

  • master the fundamentals of grammar and prose

  • develop persuasive and clear technical and executive reports

  • embrace a writing style that is polished, professional, and confident

Leslie is a dynamic and versatile instructor and builds client confidence through her engaging teaching style. She offers both customized, workshop-style and individualized, one-on-one training and has extensive experience with both native and non-native English speakers. In addition to corporate training, Leslie has taught undergraduate and graduate-level writing courses for 30 years at Tufts University and at Boston University's College of Communication, where she tutored writing and directed the program’s Writing Center. 

In addition to teaching writing, Leslie writes corporate publications and web content, and consults with clients on public relations, marketing, and brand strategy. Her clients include Children’s Hospital-Boston, Harvard University, the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center, McLean Hospital, the Museum of Science-Boston, and Tufts University, among others. Leslie holds an MS in Mass Communication from Boston University and a BS in Psychology from Tufts University, where she graduated summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa.
